The Patrol department is responsible for the day to day operation of the police department. They patrol the city 24 hours / day and respond to calls for service.
The Criminal Investigative Division is divided into 3 distinct units: Property Crimes, Violent Crimes, and Special Investigations.
The Administrative Services Division provides various support services to the other two Bureau divisions.
The Lancaster Bureau of Police provides service to several different locations on a contractual basis.
