The Lancaster Bureau of Police has two Harley Davidson Road King motorcycles. The motorcycles are used for parades, special events, patrol, and traffic enforcement. The Police Bureau has an ongoing relationship with Lancaster Harley Davidson, Inc. who provides the motorcycles to the Police Bureau at a nominal cost. Without this type of mobility, Officer’s assigned to traffic intensive events would have a very hard time moving around. In addition, the motorcycles are excellent for general patrol vehicles.
