Since 1995, the management of Park City Center has contracted police service through the Lancaster Bureau of Police. Through this agreement, the mall pays for two officers who provide full police service to the common areas of the shopping center during operating hours. The officers partner with mall security officers to enhance the safety and security of merchants and shoppers.

Park City partnered with the Lancaster bureau of police to create a Mall Watch Program in 2002. The Program is a crime prevention initiative sponsored by the Lancaster City Police and Park City Center. This program is designed to remind mall store employees and mall customers to be aware of their surroundings, report any suspicious or criminal activity, and to look out for each other. This program also encourages Park City Center stores to share information regarding criminal activity with Mall Security, Police and with each other. Let us send a message to would-be-criminals, that everyone, stores and customers alike are on the lookout for crime.
