                      Community Partner - Dave Plummer, Crisis Intervention 

Mr. Plummer is a  Crisis Intervention counselor stationed at the front desk at the Lancaster City Bureau of Police. Crisis Intervention Services are provided at the police station Tuesday – Saturday 3:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Mr. Plummer is assigned to the police bureau to assist officers who may deal with citizens with mental illness.  The goal of this initiative is to divert people away from the criminal justice system who may otherwise benefit from intervention or treatment rather than incarceration due to their mental illness symptomology. The Lancaster City Police extend their sincere gratitude to Crisis intervention and Mr. Plummer for providing this valuable service.
