Today the Columbia K-9 Campaign donated a check to the Lancaster City Police Foundation K-9 Fund. The check will pay for two K-9 Heat Alarm Pro, an electronic device installed in police K-9 vehicles that continually monitors the interior temperature of the vehicle.
As a result of a multi-month investigation the Lancaster City Police Selective Enforcement Unit (SEU) executed a search warrant this morning at 466 Manor St., apartment #8, Lancaster, PA. This investigation was the result of information received from quality of life enforcement details and citizen complaints.
An alert citizen who saw the news reports regarding Alexander Ramos-Pacheco and the missing 15-year-old girl spotted Ramos-Pacheco walking with the girl in the area of Fulton St. and Franklin St., Lancaster City at approx. 12:56 p.m. today. This citizen immediately called police.
On April 5, 2014, at approx. 9:19 PM, officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police were dispatched to the area of Duke Street and Howard Ave for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, the officers located a male victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.

On Saturday, April 5th approximately 9:19PM Officers were dispatched to the report of a shooting at the Crispus Attucks Center, 407 Howard Ave. Upon arrival officers located the shooting victim, a 16 year old male from Lancaster City suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg.
