On June 12, 2013, at approx. 10:15 PM, Officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Pine Street for a report of shots fired. While enroute to the scene, Lancaster Countywide Communications advised the responding officers of a shooting victim who was to be inside a vehicle in the 100 block of Nevin Street. Officers responded to that location and located a male subject, who was unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Lancaster General Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead a short time later. The victim is not being identified at this point, pending notification of the next of kin.

Lancaster City Police investigators are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting that occurred at approx. 7:15 a.m. Monday June 10, 2013 in the area of Queen St. and Orange St. A 35-year-old male was shot. He was conveyed to Lancaster General Hospital and underwent surgery. The Lancaster County District Attorney's Office has been notified. No police officers were injured. We will provide updated information as it becomes available.
