December 6, 2005 ARRESTED: Brian Charles Conrad Jr, 24 The above individual has been charged with two counts of Robbery in connection with two different Armed Robberies which occurred in Lancaster City and Lancaster Twp on November 21st and November 22nd. The Robbery on November 21st occurred at Marizzy Grocery, located at 450 W. Orange St, at about 4:20 pm. During this Robbery, the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun inside his sweater and demanded money, escaping with an undisclosed amount of cash. The Robbery on November 22nd, occurred at the Turkey Hill, located at 936 Columbia Ave(Lancaster Twp), shortly after 5:15 pm. During this Robbery, the suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun tucked in his waistband and demanded money. The suspect again fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. After conducting the investigation on into these Robberies, on November 30th, Lancaster City Police Detective Jarrad Berkihiser charged Conrad with two counts of Robbery in connection with these incidents, after Conrad had been arrested the previous week in Lancaster City for his role in a Robbery in Warwick Twp. The charges were filed before Magisterial District Judges Bruce Roth and Mary Sponaugle respectively. Det. Berkihiser worked in conjunction with officers and investigators from both the Warwick Twp and E. Hempfield Twp Police Departments, which assisted in bringing a successful conclusion to this case. |
