During the afternoon of 16 December 2005 and into the early morning hours of 17 December 2005, Lancaster City Police along with East Lampeter Township Police and Northern York Regional Police and the Lancaster County S.E.R.T. Team, took into custody 4 Lancaster City residents in relation to several armed robberies and Credit Card Fraud.

These incidents started in the early morning hours of 15 December 2005 when three males and a female in a car robbed at gunpoint two York men in North York Borough which is patrolled by Northern York Regional Police.

Later that same morning, three males robbed at gun and knifepoint a Motel clerk in Hellam Township, York County. The same three males then entered a house in Lancaster Township, Lancaster County and robbed six persons in that house. During the Lancaster Township robbery one male victim received a laceration from one of the robbers who was weilding a knife. That victim was treated at Lancaster General Hospital and later released.

Credit cards taken from the North York victim and victims of the Lancaster Township robbery were used at a department store in East Lampeter Township. Using surveillance video, East Lampeter Township Police Detective Michele Velez and Det. Joseph Edgell assisted in getting warrants for three of the four robbers.

The Lancaster County S.E.R.T. team executed these arrest warrants at a residence in the 600 block of East End Avenue, Lancaster City. All of the suspects were taken into custody without incident.

By mid evening Friday, 16 December 2005 all of the suspects were being interviewed about the credit card usage and the Robberies at the Lancaster City Police Station. Search Warrants served at a residence in the 600 block of East End Avenue provided investigators with loot and the handguns used in the sting of robberies.

Subsequent to the investigation by all of the Police agencies involved, the interviews and the proceeds of the search warrants, the following persons were charged by Detective Sergeant Brad Anderson, Lancaster City Police, with 6 counts of Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary and Conspiracy Charges:

600 block East End Ave. Lancaster

2) Marvin Jesus FERRER H/M/25
600 block East End Ave. Lancaster

3) Jaime Luis MORALES H/M/19
600 block East End Ave. Lancaster

These three actors were arraigned by District Justice Mary Sponaugle. All three were committed to Lancaster County Prison in default of 1 million dollar bail.

William Morales, Marvin Ferrer and Jaime Morales will face additional charges by Off. John Vaughn II of Northern York Regional Police and Detective Matt Cimino of Hellam Township Police.

The female who was involved in the Northern York Robbery and the Credit Card Fraud in East Lampeter Township was also taken into custody. She is:

300 block of S. Prince St. Lancaster

Glorivee MEDINA was charged by East Lampeter Police and Northern York Regional Police. She was also committed to Lancaster County Prison in default of bail.
