ANIMAL CRUELTY

 

           On December 22, 2012 at approximately 11:25pm, an unknown person shot a domesticated cat named Mack. This occurred in front of 334 Walnut St. in Bainbridge. Mack was hit with a field tipped arrow. The arrow entered Mack’s skull through the top of his head and exited the rear of his skull. The arrow remained in place until it was removed by emergency veternarian personnel at PETS in Lancaster. 

            Witnesses reported seeing a silhouette of a person standing in the rear yard of Mack’s residence. When the witness saw Mack sitting on the front porch with an arrow in his head, the person in the rear yard ran toward N. Second St. Mack survived the attack and is back at home. The arrow that struck Mack narrowly missed his brain and struck his sinuses, causing an anticipated lifetime of sinus issues for Mack.
