11.02.12 Arrest in NJ Homicide
At 6:47 p.m. November 1, 2012, Lancaster City Police officers responded to Lancaster General Hospital, 555 N. Duke St. A 33-year-old New Jersey woman, later identified as Regina Anne Wallace, had made statements to LGH staff that she had been involved in a homicide in Ewing, NJ. Lancaster police officers immediately notified police in Ewing Township, NJ. Several hours later, investigators from Ewing Twp. Police advised Lancaster City Police investigators that they had issued an arrest warrant for Regina Wallace, charging her with Criminal Homicide. Wallace was subsequently arrested and charged by Lancaster City Police Det. Manual Luciano with Fugitive from Justice before MDJ Janice Jimenez. Wallace was arraigned and is currently being held in Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $1 million bail.

EWING POLICE DEPARTMENT
HOMICIDE: On Thursday November 1, 2012, shortly before 7 p.m., the Ewing Police received information from the Lancaster City Police Department about a possible homicide. Patrol officers responded to 119 Buttonwood Drive in Ewing to check on the resident and located Sharon Wallace (BF, 53) deceased after they forced entry to the house. A search warrant was executed and the murder weapon, a pick axe, was located and secured. The victim’s daughter, Regina Wallace (BF, 33) was charged with murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Bail was set at $1 million and Regina Wallace is being held in Lancaster, Pa. pending extradition. The motive for the murder remains under investigation. Dsg.
