11.15.13 Indecent Assault

 On Friday, November 15, 2013 at approximately 4:11 AM patrol officers were dispatched for an indecent assault that occurred in the area of the 500 Blk. of East End Ave. Officers spoke with the 24-year-old female victim. 

The victim stated that a male suspect followed her in the area of the 500 Blk East End Ave., approached her and touched her inappropriately.  The victim then got away from the suspect and he approached her a second time and touched her more aggressively.  The victim defended herself and the suspect fled the area.  The victim described the suspect as:

Hispanic or White male suspect between 25-35 years old with a light complexion. Approximately 5’5”, 175 Lbs. last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and closed tightly around his face, a black jacket over the sweatshirt, and dark colored jeans.

Patrol Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone.  Detectives with the Special Investigations Unit are currently investigating the case.  Video footage from the safety coalition is being reviewed to see if the incident or the suspect were captured on video.

The victim was not injured from the assault.
