3.24.13 Shooting Investigation 200 block W. King St.

At 0354 hours Sunday 24 March 2013, Officers from the Lancaster Bureau of Police responded to the 200 block of W. King St. for shots fired call.

 

Upon Officers arrival they located a Hispanic male, 21 years old, had been shot once in the leg. The male subject was taken to local hospital and is being treated, for non-life threatening gunshot wound. Several detectives were called in to conduct interviews and process the scene.

 

At this time it is known that the victim was in an altercation, with three other Hispanic individuals. One of the persons involved in this altercation fired an unknown caliber weapon, striking the victim in the leg.

 

At this time there is minimal information available.  Detectives are still investigating this incident. We are asking that anyone with information please contact the Lancaster City Bureau of Police and speak to Detectives Deeter or Bonilla.
