During the week of Sept 17, 2012 the Lancaster City Police received information about a group of automobile enthusiasts that were meeting on Sunday nights in the parking lot of Boscov’s at the Park City Mall.
On August 27th, 2012 the Lancaster City Police received information regarding an indecent assault involving a 12 year old female child and a 43 year old male suspect, which occurred on June 15th, 2012 on Fremont St.

At approximately 8:12 pm on Thursday, September 13th, 2012, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Howard Ave. for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival officers observed a male victim, city resident, standing on the front porch of a residence suffering from a large laceration on his left arm.
Shortly after 8:00 pm, Monday evening, September 10th, Lancaster City Police Officers were dispatched to an apartment building/rooming house in the 400 blk. of Manor St. for the report of a stabbing which had just occurred.

Updated information regarding death investigation, 1st block Wise Ave: Following an autopsy by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office, this death is being investigated as an apparent suicide caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The victim is a 21-year-old city man.
