At 12:11 a.m., July 24, 2012 Lancaster City Police officers were dispatched to an apartment building in the 1st block of E. Walnut St. for a report of a cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 59-year-old male resident of the apartment. The victim had visible traumatic injuries.

     On 8 July 2012, at approx. 3:05 am, officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to 239 W. King Street for a stabbing.   Officers encountered the victim, who was riding in a vehicle, and learned that he had been stabbed on W. King Street, outside of 239 W.
