On 8 July 2012, at approx. 3:05 am, officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to 239 W. King Street for a stabbing. Officers encountered the victim, who was riding in a vehicle, and learned that he had been stabbed on W. King Street, outside of 239 W.
At 5:00 p.m. July 9, 2012 Lancaster County Wide Communication broadcast that a civilian was following a stolen vehicle in the area of Lancaster Township and that officers from Manheim Township were currently looking for the vehicle in the area of the Millersville Pike.
During the recent hot weather the Lancaster City Bureau of Police saw an increased number of burglaries in Lancaster City. Unlocked doors, open windows, and air conditioners mounted in windows on the first floor were common issues leading to residential entries.
