Shooting/Homicide Suspect Update

UPDATE INFORMATION ON WANTED SUBJECT AS OF 17 NOVEMBER 2012

 

Lancaster City Police Detectives continued to investigate the murder of Dennis McFadden Jr. over the last several days, working tirelessly to follow-up on leads, conduct interviews and review evidence. All available investigators were assigned to this case, and investigators consulted with the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office throughout this investigation. As a result of this investigation, investigators have identified the suspect involved in the shooting death of Dennis McFadden Jr. and now have an active arrest warrant for the following individual:

 

WANTED - Jamaal M. HARRIS – 27 year old male

Resident of the 600 block S. Lime Street, Lancaster City

 

Jamaal HARRIS has been charged with one count of Criminal Homicide by Detective Michael Gerace, before Magisterial District Judge Richard Simms. On the evening of 16 November 2012, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for HARRIS and are attempting to locate him. Investigators are withholding additional details regarding the shooting, as to not jeopardize the investigation while they attempt to locate HARRIS.
