On June 12, 2013, at approx. 10:15 PM, Officers from the Lancaster City Bureau of Police were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Pine Street for a report of shots fired. While enroute to the scene, Lancaster Countywide Communications advised the responding officers of a shooting victim who was to be inside a vehicle in the 100 block of Nevin Street. Officers responded to that location and located a male subject, who was unresponsive and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Lancaster General Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead a short time later. The victim is not being identified at this point, pending notification of the next of kin.

Lancaster City Police investigators are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting that occurred at approx. 7:15 a.m. Monday June 10, 2013 in the area of Queen St. and Orange St. A 35-year-old male was shot. He was conveyed to Lancaster General Hospital and underwent surgery. The Lancaster County District Attorney's Office has been notified. No police officers were injured. At approximately 8:50 a.m. 5/21/13 Lancaster County Wide Communications received a call from a female reporting she had been forced into the trunk of a vehicle by two male suspects. According to the victim, this occurred somewhere within the City of Lancaster. Through the victim's communications via her cell phone, it was determined that the victim and vehicle were probably driven to the Lancaster County Central Park. Approx. 15-20 minutes after the initial call, officers located the victim and vehicle, a red Chrysler sedan, in the Kiwanis area of the County Park. The suspects were not located. The victim, a 33-year-old Lancaster County woman, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A search for the suspects is ongoing. All entrances to the Lancaster County Central Park are closed at this time. City Police are being assisted by PA State Police, PSP Aviation Unit, Red Rose K9, Lancaster County Sheriff's Dept., and numerous county police agencies. The suspects were described by the victim as:
